Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management  strategy aims to promote and support the local Government Units, from this standpoint JSC held a meeting today Wednesday, March 26, 2014 attended by representatives from 45 Local Government Units in Ramallah and Al -Bireh Governorate represented by: Council of Alaouraat, Saffa and AL- Tira, Council Beit Liqya, Al-Etihad municipality, Al-Zaytouna municipality ,Ni'lin Municipality, and Council of Kafr Neimeh, Bil'in, Ein Arik,  meeting in order to discuss the details the insurance tender and the Centralized Insurance that  includes general insurance and Compactor Trucks insurance which are owned by the Council and working for the benefit of local governmental unites. 

The meeting resulted in a number of recommendations mainly delegating Joint Service Council in taking over the insurance tasks for the LGUs of other equipments not owned by the council.  Additional to It was agreed that the Council services will continue supporting the LGUs with regard to the Central Insurance until the end of 2014 and to start processing the central insurance at the beginning of next year .
