JSC’s board of directors held a meeting in the presence of Eng Hassan Mussabeh - Chairman of JSC and the mayor of Deir Debwan ,  Eng.Sami Al-Taweel - representative of Al-Beireh Municipality. Eng.Wadee’ Khaled - representative of the Turmus'ayya municipality, Eng.Ibrahim Wahdan representative of Betounia Municipality,  Eng. Raed Ziadeh - representative of Al-Etihad Municipality, Eng. Hussein Abu Aoun, Executive Director of Joint Service Council. And Dr. Reem Musleh – AMC consultants , in a special meeting to discuss the proposed amendments proposed JSC’s statute , which has been reviewed by the consultant and the executive management of the Council , where the Advisory Dr. Reem Musleh gave a detailed explanation of the council’s statute and the materials and sources that were adopted at the establishment of the Council in 2007 in the preparation of that system. A discussion took place during the meeting between the audience about all the points raised in the amendments.

The BOD decided to form a special committee for the formulation of the proposed amendments of the statute and this committee is formed of Eng.Musabah ,Eng.Altaweel, Eng.Zyadeh and Eng.Abu Oun , the committee will raise the proposed amendments to the Department of Legal Affairs in the Ministry of Local Government , before displaying the revised version to the General Assembly for authentication.
On the sidelines of the meeting Eng. Altaweel briefed the

presence about the repercussions of the waste crisis the municipality of Al-Beireh is facing after the Israeli side closed Al-Beireh dumpsite at the beginning of August last year. and the lack of alternatives in the scope , especially with the delayed approval of the Israeli on the  establishment of the Regional Sanitary  landfill to serve  Ramallah and Al –Bireh Governorate .therefore, The Board of Directors decided to introduc temporary solutions to the General Assembly in their next meeting which is  expected to take place in March.
