the Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management represented by its Executive Director Engineer Hussein Abu Aoun and the technical engineer Said  Alhudairi participated in a meeting with the Implementation  consulting firm in order to discuss the preparation of the regional sanitary landfill, transfer stations as well as the process of waste migration from all over the governorate to the proposed location of the landfill in the east side of Ramallah governorate.

The meeting included discussions about several issues; the most important was the receipt of the quarterly report that includes the achievements of the Implementation Consulting firm, which includes re-examining the economic feasibility study of the project. And assess the number of transfer stations proposed in the environmental impact assessment study, which was prepared by the German company ERM. They also discussed the proposed mechanism for the process of random dumpsite closure in the governorate over the next three years.
